Strength in Sisterhood

The Adat Chaim Sisterhood

The Adat Chaim Sisterhood is a dynamic and enthusiastic group of women who share common interests, concerns, and ideas that are part of their Jewish experiences. One of the goals of our Sisterhood is to support our synagogue. Another goal is to engage in activities while fulfilling mitzvot that the Sisterhood and its members have embraced.

We are busy providing community outreach and service projects each year. We support our local food pantry through the collection of non-perishable items; we collect items for community organizations providing services to families in need; we provide support to other non-profits through volunteer opportunities as the need arises.

You do not need to be a member of the synagogue to join Sisterhood. Membership costs only $36 each year. Your membership also entitles you to participate in programs and events offered through Women's League of Conservative Judaism and our local Seaboard Region.

Save the Date for Sisterhood's Kick-off Event

Adat Chaim Sisterhood will hold its kick-off event on Wednesday, September 14th at 7PM. We invite all Sisterhood and Synagogue women to join us as we gather together for our kick-off and program. We will layout the Sisterhood calendar for the year and catch up on news from each of you and your family. We will also welcome our guest speaker.

We have Jill A. Snyder, Esquire coming to provide us with some very important information. Her talk: ARE YOU PREPARED? What every person should know about estate planning. Come prepared with questions you might have for Jill.

RSVP to let us know you are coming. We are looking at providing this on Zoom as well. Please send us an email if you would need a Zoom link. You can send it here:
