Sisterhood
The Adat Chaim Sisterhood
The Adat Chaim Sisterhood is a dynamic and enthusiastic group of women who share common interests, concerns, and ideas that are part of their Jewish experiences. One of the goals of our Sisterhood is to support our synagogue. Another goal is to engage in activities while fulfilling mitzvot that the Sisterhood and its members have embraced.
We are busy providing community outreach and service projects each year. We support our local food pantry through the collection of non-perishable items; we collect items for community organizations providing services to families in need; we provide support to other non-profits through volunteer opportunities as the need arises.
You do not need to be a member of the synagogue to join Sisterhood. Membership costs only $36 each year. Your membership also entitles you to participate in programs and events offered through Women's League of Conservative Judaism and our local Seaboard Region.
