ADAT CHAIM WELCOMES YOU!
Adat Chaim is a small congregation that enjoys coming together as a Jewish community to celebrate Shabbat each week, festivals, and holidays throughout the year. We are proud to serve the northwestern part of Baltimore County and Carroll County and beyond.
Adat Chaim is a warm and welcoming Jewish congregation located in Owings Mills, MD. Our approach to Jewish life is simple, integrating a deep respect for traditional Judaism with the insights of contemporary life. Our membership's enthusiasm defines purposeful and meaningful Jewish living. Our members believe that Jewish learning is a lifelong process!
WHO WE ARE:
- We have been able to re-imagine ourselves during the pandemic. We have engaged our members and adapted our service and learning opportunities both on Zoom and in-person.
- We have studied together on topics dealing with the underpinnings of liturgy, Jewish ethics, and the wondrous workings of the Jewish spirit and the Jewish imagination.
- We respond to requests for needed resources and support in the greater Baltimore community.
- Adat Chaim donated over 100 siddurim to a congregation in need in the Midwest! What a wonderful feeling to assist another congregation.
- Our Sisterhood members provide support through donations to a variety of organizations in the Baltimore area to help them serve those in need in the Baltimore area.
- We have been present at the JCC Community Block Party and Reisterstown Festival.
